Washing and Changing Facilities
2023 AA 4 star campsite

This site has two quality ablution blocks with laundry, dishwashing rooms, disabled provision (with bath), family shower rooms, children's bath, baby changing, shaving points, and hand & hair dryers.  Only assistance dogs are allowed within the buildings.

On site facilities for visitors

Visitors staying on the site have access to a range of facilities:

  • Picnic tables & BBQ provision
  • A selection of site & tourist information (within the Laundry Room) as well as some children's games
  • Freezer available for use
  • Washer and drier tokens can be purchased from the Visitor Centre during office hours (refundable for those you don't use) and irons can be hired for a refundable deposit.  A small spin drier is available for small items and there is a washing line outside the laundry room.
  • Young children's play area (with a larger adventure play area within the Country Park)
  • Calor Gas exchange
  • General refuse grey bins are available for materials that cannot be recycled.  Recycle blue bins are available for paper, cardboard, tin/foil, plastic, tetrapak cartons.  General refuse and recycle blue bins are located at Cherry Hollow and Hazel Spinney service points and at the camping site.  Glass recycling, for bottles and jars, is located at Cherry Hollow service point and the camping site.  Clothing, electrical and larger items must be taken to a community recycling centre.
  • Free Wi-Fi connection at the Beecraigs Visitor Centre
  • Free access to public PC within the Visitor Centre

In the Park

The Country Park provides great opportunities for walking and cycling along miles of forest tracks and trails, or join the Ranger Service for activities in the outdoors. Beecraigs is a pet friendly site and welcomes your four-legged companions; staff can suggest walks to enjoy in the area. The Visitor Centre provides advice and information as well as a range of gift items, ice cream, confectionary and houses the Hideaway Cafe.

Hideaway Café

The Café at Beecraigs is provides a breakfast and lunch menu, 100% of the menu is available in a gluten free option.  Picnic tables and seating are available for Park visitors outside the Visitor Centre. Staying with pets

Pets are welcome but we ask everyone to please be responsible for your pet and exercise it off site.
