Long term hospital or care home discount
You may be able to get a discount if a member of your household is in hospital or in a care home.
To qualify the person must
- have their sole or main residence in a hospital or care home, and
- be receiving care and/or treatment in the hospital or care home
Note: If the person is not in long term care and intends to return to their home address they will not be disregarded for Council Tax discount purposes.
