West Lothian Council's Pest Control team investigate and treat pest control issues within West Lothian.

The council's Pest Control team provide a service to help treat premises and land where designated pests are found which are either by their behaviour, location or activity deemed detrimental to the health and wellbeing of the people of West Lothian.
Birds can cause nuisance in a number of ways but the solution is very rarely killing them.
West Lothian Council provides a comprehensive service to deal with bed-bug infestations. Bed-bug infestations can take a number of months to control and to be effective requires the total co-operation of the householder.
West Lothian Council provides a comprehensive service to deal with Dermestes beetle infestations.
West Lothian Council provides a service to deal with mouse infestations indoors only (including outbuildings, garages and sheds).
West Lothian Council provides a comprehensive service to deal with rat infestations both indoors and outdoors.
Wasps are a nuisance during the months of May through to September. As such the council provides a non-statutory service to control nests which are causing a nuisance to people living, working or visiting West Lothian.
