To request permission to keep a pet
You must comply with any legal requirements of owning particular types of pet. Permission will never be given for poisonous pets such as poisonous snakes or spiders, or pets prohibited by the Dangerous Dogs Act 1992, ie XL Bully dogs. Failure to comply will be seen as a Breach of Tenancy and action will be taken. Please see the Pet Permission page and XL Bully Dogs page for more information.
By submitting this form I/we confirm,
I/We undertake to comply with all the terms and conditions contained in the tenancy agreement under section 2.6.
The following conditions apply to all permitted pets:
you are responsible for the behaviour of any pets owned by you or anyone living with you
you must take all reasonable steps to prevent such pets causing nuisance, annoyance or danger to your neighbours or neighbour’s property. This includes fouling or noise or smell from your pet,
you must take reasonable care to see that such pets do not foul or cause damage to your house, anything belonging to us or anything we are responsible for, such as the common parts, communal gardens, footpaths or drying areas,
you are responsible for cleaning up dog faeces
you are required to ensure that your pet is exercised appropriately
you are required to pay the costs of making good any damage to our property caused by your pet.
we are entitled to require the removal of the pet if it causes nuisance or damage, or if any of the conditions under which written permission to keep the pet at the house are not met.
