Property for a Minister of Religion

You may be entitled to a Council Tax exemption if the property is being held for a minister of religion.

How does the property qualify for an exemption?

The unoccupied property can be furnished and is being held by or on behalf of a religious body for the purpose of being available for occupation by a minister of religion as a residence from which to perform the duties of their office.

 

How long will the exemption last?

The exemption will last for as long as the qualifying conditions exist.
