You will have access to all available bays and skips on site. While staff cannot provide any physical assistance to help you remove items from your car and deposit them in the skips, they can advise you which skip to put items in, if you are in any doubt please ask a member of staff.

Is your item still usable? If your item is still in usable condition you may be able to offer it to a neighbour, friend or family member. You may also consider advertising the item online (e.g. Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or Freecycle) and have the item collected from your home by someone who needs it.
Local Charity shops may be able to accept some items. Larger items, such as furniture and electrical goods can sometimes be collected by charities such as Home Aid, a WLC sponsored charity, who can pass these items to needy people in the area. You can call them on 01506 652230.
Is your item repairable? If your item is repairable you could offer it to a Repair Café or a charity repair organisation, many of whom perform repairs on a donation only basis.
Is your item beyond repair? If there is no further use for your item and you need to take it to one of the Council Recycling Centres, click here to use the booking system, remembering that you may get a quicker appointment by checking availability at centres other than the one closest to you.
Bagged waste, bulky items, wood & laminates, scrap metal, cardboard and some electrical items such as fridges/freezers, hoovers and washing machines, please visit the Community Recycling Centres page for more information on what can currently be accepted at the CRCs.

Bagged waste is non-recyclable waste from your household bin that you would usually put in your grey bin.
