Lanthorn Library will have a stock take on Monday 10th March, however it will take place during the libraries normal closure hours and will have no impact on the public.

Lanthorn Library offers a wide range of library services to people of all ages living or working in West Lothian.

Activities for all

A selection of board games are available for use in the library during library opening hours - Just ask a member of staff for the game and play, then return when finished! Subject to availability of games and available space in library at the time of request. Not available on self-service days.

Jigsaw challenge drop-in - pop in and help us complete our jigsaw, just add a piece or two (or more) every time you visit the library.

Lego club - does your little one love to build? Pop along to our LEGO club for an hour of building fun! Suitable for primary school age children

Fridays 7th and 21st February, 1pm-2pm

Craft club- fancy making some crafts? Our kids craft club will be up your street! suitable for primary school age children

Fridays 14th and 28th February, 1pm-2pm

Meet the Author - pop along to Lanthorn Library and meet Claire Swan, author of The Haggis Hill

Free replacement hearing aid batteries - please bring along your hearing aid booklet so your batteries can be recorded.
