Current Road Closures, Diversions and Traffic Disruptions
Details of road closures and diversions currently in place in West Lothian.
It is our aim to limit the inconvenience to road users during maintenance works however, from time to time, we need to close roads or divert the traffic.

Parking will be suspended on Main Street from the junction of Almond Grove to outside number 46 for Openreach work
Barnes Green will be closed outside number 4 for Scottish Water works
Forkneuk Road will be closed from the junction with West Main Street to the junction with Strathbrock Place for Scottish Water works
East Main Street will be closed from outside 136 East Main Street to outside Armadale Filling Station for power cable installation
Road closures and parking suspensions will be in place for the gala day parade
Millerfield will be closed outside number 1 and parking will be suspended on Main Street from the junction with Mill Road to outside number 1 Main Street for SGN works
Parking will be suspended around the junctions of Preston Avenue, Preston Road and Braehead Road for duct work
Parking will be suspended on Millfield from number 27 to the junction with Kirkton North Road
Athol Terrace will be closed and parking also suspended from the junction with Fountainhead Road to Glenmavis Drive for filming works
Teviot Drive will be closed between number 1 and 5 for ironwork repairs
Works to improve the A71/B7031 junction between East Calder and Kirknewton will start on Saturday 1 June 2024 for an estimated 16 weeks.
The footpath adjacent to number 78 will be closed, parking will also be suspended. This is for footpath works
