Current Road Closures, Diversions and Traffic Disruptions

Details of road closures and diversions currently in place in West Lothian.

It is our aim to limit the inconvenience to road users during maintenance works however, from time to time, we need to close roads or divert the traffic.

Various closures and suspensions will be in place for SGN gas main works
Mill Road will be closed between Avontoun Park and Belsyde Court at Mill Road rail bridge
Parking will be suspended on the A89 Bathgate Road, East Main Street and West Main Street from Heatherfield Roundabout to the west end of Armadale for delivery of windfarm components.
Balbardie Avenue will be closed from number 73 until the the road end for carriageway resurfacing works
The B8028 will be closed from the boundary of Falkirk at Avonbridge to junction with B8047, Westfield for drainage investigation and repair
A road closure and parking suspension will be in place in five phases for carriageway resurfacing works
The U11 will be closed between A706 and C17 in two phases for carriageway patching
A parking suspension will be in place for the two car parking spaces between number 21 and 22 for access to construction site
Parking will be suspended at Craigswood near the junction with Grange Road to allow temporary access into the site of the new Beatlie ASN school
Beatlie Road will be closed from around the junction with the U4 for construction of a motorway junction and slip roads/roundabout
Parking will be suspended on Craigton Place outside number 128 to permit safe movement of traffic associated with wastewater treatment plant works
Parking will be suspended and waiting restrictions in place to allow parking bays to be moved from opposite side of road to introduce a temporary advisory cycle lane to support safer movement as part of Spaces for People Programme
