Current Road Closures, Diversions and Traffic Disruptions
Details of road closures and diversions currently in place in West Lothian.
It is our aim to limit the inconvenience to road users during maintenance works however, from time to time, we need to close roads or divert the traffic.

The U40 will be closed outside West Torphin to Broadmeadow for BT works
The A71 Bankton Road, Livingston from Lizzie Brice's Roundabout to Crofthead Interchange will have a speed limit restriction of 30mph to allow carriageway surfacing works.
Essential carriageway resurfacing work is due to be carried out which will require temporary road closures and traffic management.
Deans South will be closed from outside Deans Primary School to the junction of Elie Avenue and Arran Avenue will be closed from the junction of Deans South to outside number 59 for drainage installation and surfacing
Aitken Orr Drive will be closed and parking suspended over four phases for carriageway resurfacing works.
Glebe Avenue will be closed outside numbers 45 to 75 for new LV service
The entirety of Bedlormie Drive, Redburn Road and Ogilface Crescent will be closed and footpath between Bedlormie Drive and Main Street will also be closed for street lighting works
Almond Road will be closed after the roundabout at the A899 off-slip at former Braidwood Motors for cabling works
The B8028 will be closed at Blackfaulds Nursing Home for drainage investigation
Various phased closures and suspensions will be in place in East Calder for footpath resurfacing and repairs
