Current Road Closures, Diversions and Traffic Disruptions

Details of road closures and diversions currently in place in West Lothian.

It is our aim to limit the inconvenience to road users during maintenance works however, from time to time, we need to close roads or divert the traffic.

U4, Philipstoun - Road Closure (Thursday 9 Apr)
The U4 will be closed from Grieves Cottage Duntarvie to 1 Duntarvie Cottages for cabling works
C13, Blackburn - Road Closure (Monday 13 Apr)
The C13 will be closed at the road bridge over the River Almond northward for tree felling.
C17 - Road Closure (Monday 13 Apr)
The C17 will be closed from the junction with B792 Balliencrieff Toll to the junction with C18 Cathlaw Lane for carraigeway resurfacing.
Poynter's Road, - Road Closure (Monday 13 Apr)
Poynter's Road will be closed outside number 22 for sewer works
Abercorn road safety works brough forward
Planned work to create a new traffic signal junction at the junction of the A904 and B8020 Winchburgh Road are set to start earlier than planned.
Harburn Avenue, Livingston - Road Closure (Monday 13 Apr)
Harburn Avenue will be closed from Woodlands Nursery to the rear of number 58 for Scottish Water ironworks
Marjoribanks Street, Gideon Street, Hopetoun Place, Drumcross Road & Torphichen Street - Road Closure, Footpath Closure, Parking Suspension (Monday 2 Mar)
Marjoribanks Street, Gideon Street, Hopetoun Place, Drumcross Road & Torphichen Street will have closures and parking suspensions in place for road works
Stewartfield Crescent, Liggat Place and Aitken Orr Drive, Broxburn - Parking Suspension (Monday 9 Mar)
Parking will be suspended on Stewartfield Crescent, Liggat Place and Aitken Orr Drive outside number 28 to 78 (both sides of carriageway) for SPEN new electrical service and cable installations
C21 - Rural Dechmont - Road Closure (Tuesday 7 Apr)
C21, Rural Dechmont will be closed in two phases under two phases for replacement of ironwork and drainage investigation
Baad's Mill, Rural Breich - Road Closure (Tuesday 7 Apr)
Baad's Mill will be closed from at the C28 between the C31 and C24 for a drainage investigation and ditching
Main Street, Kirknewton - Parking Suspension (Monday 6 Apr)
Parking will be suspended on Main Street, Kirknewton from 42 Main Street to 3 Hillhouse Terrace both sides and 8 Smithy Brae to the junction of Main Street both sides for duct work
Main Street, Mid Calder - Parking Suspension (Monday 13 Apr)
Parking will be suspended on Main Street from number 52 Main Street to number 12 Main Street for frame and cover repair works
