Broxburn, Uphall and Winchburgh By-Election
A By-Election to be held to elect a councillor for the Broxburn, Uphall and Winchburgh ward of West Lothian Council.
The Returning Officer has determined that Thursday 13 March 2025 is the date proposed for polling in the Local Government By-Election to be held in the Broxburn, Uphall and Winchburgh Ward (West Lothian Council). Formal notification of the date will be publicised when the Notice of Election is published on Monday 3 February 2025.
Briefing - Thursday 30 January 2025
A briefing for prospective candidates and agents will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 30 January 2025. This meeting will be held in-person in Conference Room 3 at West Lothian Civic Centre in Livingston. The briefing will start at 5.00pm.

Nominations
The nomination period is weekdays between 10am and 4pm from Tuesday 4 February 2025 until Monday 10 February 2025, both inclusive. A nomination pack will be available for you to take away from the briefing. The pack will also be available to download from this page following the briefing.
