Friends of Little Boghead
Little Boghead Nature Park in Bathgate has a team of volunteers that help the Ranger Service with conservation and maintenance tasks in the Park.
Friends of Little Boghead
Little Boghead Nature Park is located in Bathgate, and is an area reclaimed for nature after an industrial past. The park is just under 10 hectares of semi-mature woodland, scrub, grassland and wetland and is a haven for wildlife in an urban area.
The Friends of Little Boghead are an enthusiastic team of volunteers that meet quarterly throughout the year to work with the Rangers. Tasks have included litter picking, path maintenance, pond work, cutting back overgrown vegetation, meadow management, tree planting and invasive plant species control.
