Free Tenant Find Service
Aiming to connect landlords and tenants to secure suitable long-term tenancies
West Lothian Council have introduced a new free tenant find service for private landlords. The service is funded by the Rapid Re housing Transition Plan (RRTP), the project aims to connect landlords and tenants to secure suitable long-term tenancies in the local area. The Private Rented Sector can be complex and costly for landlords and our focus is to simplify the process, reduce vacant periods in between tenancies and provide support.
As part of this service we will;
- Arrange viewings with potential tenants
- Accompany viewings where required
- Complete reference checks on prospective tenants
- Provide support from initial contact to check-in.
Tenants will also have access to the Flexible Fund (where eligible) which covers the first month's rent and/or deposit and can be paid directly to the landlord for the tenancy starting.
