Jubilee bin collections changes
Blue and brown bins scheduled for collection on the Platinum Jubilee special holiday, Friday 3 June, have been suspended.
Only grey bins scheduled for collection on Friday 3 June should be put out as normal, and left out until they are emptied.
Staffing levels over the special holiday weekend means it will not be possible to maintain a full service, with priority being given to grey bin collections.
A West Lothian Council spokesperson said: "We regret that we will be unable to offer a full bin collection service over the Jubilee special holiday.
"Only those whose grey bins collections are due on Friday 3 June should put their bin out as normal, with blue and brown bins left until their next scheduled collection date.
"We would like to offer our sincere apologies to all residents affected by this unavoidable change."
