Car Parking Information

Road signs will direct you to the Visitor Centre. Please park in either the large Hillhouse Car Park (path connects from this car park to the Visitor Centre) or smaller Visitor Centre Car Park on arrival (this car park can be full quickly on busy days). Should you be bringing a bus or horse box to Beecraigs, please park in the Hillhouse Car Park. Further information on car parking is detailed below.

Winter: 30/10/2023 - 31/03/2024Monday - Sunday 10am - 4pm
Summer: 01/04/2024  -29/09/2024Monday - Sunday 9am - 7pm 
Late Summer: 30/09/2024 - 27/10/2024Monday - Sunday 9am - 5pm 

The Visitor Centre and public toilets are closed on the 25 December and 26 December and 1 and 2 January.

Contact Details

Hideaway Café

The Café at Beecraigs is provides a breakfast and lunch menu, 100% of the menu is available in a gluten free option.  Picnic tables and seating are available for Park visitors outside the Visitor Centre. The Café can be contacted via Facebook (opens new window)(Hideaway Café Beecraigs) or call 01506 847111 if you have any specific requirements. 

Open daily 9.30am to 4.00pm but please check their Facebook page for the most current information.

About the Visitor Centre

West Lothian Council has converted the old Beecraigs Restaurant building into the Beecraigs Visitor Centre providing:

  • reception
  • facility bookings (including caravan & camping site, BBQs and Sutherland Building room hire),
  • visitor information
  • gift sales
  • ice cream sales, confectionary sales
  • public toilets (available during opening hours only)
  • staff office provision
  • outdoor seating 
  • and Hideaway Café

Free public wi-fi is available at the Visitor Centre and there is a public PC people can use. 

Parking

Limited parking is available adjacent to the Visitor Centre and visitors are asked to use the Hillhouse Car Park particularly on busy days. Should you be bringing a bus or horse box to Beecraigs, please park in the Hillhouse Car Park.
