Livingston North Blue Green Network
Following a successful programme of works in Livingston South and in Almondvale Park in Central Livingston, we secured £20,000 from the Central Scotland Green Network Development Fund to carry out a feasibility study for improving the network of paths, woodlands, waterways and parks in North Livingston. This started a process of consultation, reporting and planning for the area.

The appointed consultants assessed all the areas, put together some draft plans and carried out many community consultation events, along with an online survey. Taking into account all the feedback, their final masterplan and report can be viewed here:
Now the council is in the process of gradually putting these plans into practice as funds become available. The first areas to receive work will be the Howden 'Eco-park' and Livingston Village Park.
