On-street parking is available in West Lothian either in designated parking places or in areas where parking is not controlled.
On-street parking
In West Lothian, enforcement of on-street parking regulations is the responsibility of the police. Within the main town centres, parking is controlled and stays are limited.
If you receive an on-street parking ticket, follow the instructions on the ticket. The council cannot intervene but can provide copies of the relevant traffic orders on request.
Renew a parking permit
West Lothian Council does not operate any permit parking schemes and therefore does not issue any parking permits.
