Reusable Face Coverings
Did you know that disposable face coverings have a lifespan of 450 years? This means that any disposable masks we throw away while tackling the pandemic will still be around for the next 4 centuries! We are already finding masks and plastic gloves washed up on beaches around the world and with the use of face coverings becoming mandatory in shops this week why not stay safe while also keeping the environment safe too? By making your own face covering from unwanted pillowcases, t-shirts or even socks you can reduce the demand for disposable face masks, recycle your unwanted fabrics and reuse your masks over and over again, just wash it after every use - that's the 3 R's in one face mask!
