Community Arts

Community Arts in West Lothian including public art, Youth Music Initiative, visual art, creative learning and arts funding opportunities.

West Lothian is the home of internationally recognised pieces of Public Art, with over 100 artworks dotted around the region.
Youth Music Initiative (YMI) is an initiative funded by Creative Scotland and managed by West Lothian Council. It aims to assist in Scottish Governments commitment that every school pupil should be offered a year of free music tuition by the time they leave primary school.
The aim of the Creative Learning Network (CLN) is to champion the arts, culture and creativity in schools within the overarching context of the Curriculum for Excellence for the long term benefit of learners.
