Crofthead Footbridge, Livingston - Footpath Closure (Monday 17 Aug)
The footpath on Crofthead Footbridge crossing Dedridge West Road will be closed. Temporary lights for pedestrians to cross safely will also be installed adjacent to the bridge on Dedridge West Road. This is for bridge joint replacement.
When will this take place?
The Footpath Closure will take place from 12.01am on Monday 17 August until 11.59pm on Tuesday 25 August
Diversion Routes
Pedestrians travelling west to east - Follow the footpath adjacent to the south side of the bridge towards Dedridge West Road. Pedestrians will then use the stairs or temporary ramp to cross Dedridge West Road at the temporary traffic lights. Upon crossing the road, pedestrians will either take the stairs or follow the footpath south along Dedridge West Road the right along Templar Rise where they can then access the footpaths within the Crofthead Centre.
Pedestrians travelling east to west - Use the stairs to access the temporary lights at Dedridge West Road. Or head south from the Crofthead Centre towards Templar Rise, then turn left and left again onto Dedridge West Road. Follow Dedridge West Road north to access the temporary traffic lights. Once across the road pedestrians can use the stairs or temporary ramp.
