The Returning Officer has determined that Thursday 11 December 2025 will be the date for Local Government By-Election to be held in the Whitburn and Blackburn Ward (West Lothian Council). The Notice of Election will be published on Friday 31 October 2025.
Candidate and Agent Briefing - Wednesday 29 October 2025
A briefing for prospective candidates and agents will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 29 October. This briefing will be held in-person in CR3 at West Lothian Civic Centre in Livingston. The briefing will start at 5.00pm.
