The New Well - Change the Changing Room: Low Port Centre changing room refurbishment to create counselling and support rooms for The New Well: £9784.28

The New Well, located in Linlithgow, primarily serves individuals facing life-limiting mental health challenges, as well as those who are unemployed, underemployed, and face additional barriers to employment, along with isolated individuals. The New Well provides a donation-based one-to-one counselling service, a Job Club with drop-in coaching sessions and Chatty Tables in local cafes.

The New Well is looking to create a new place for the organisation to provide its services at the Low Port Centre, Linlithgow by refurbishing the changing rooms which are no longer used. This will give The New Well its own premises from which they can grow their wellbeing services. The new space designed by The New Well will enable the organisation to provide additional support such as wellbeing groups, training opportunities and money coaching workshops alongside their existing programme of services.

Therefore, The New Well is seeking £9784.28 for the renovation works to create the new wellbeing space. This includes creating two therapy/ group work rooms, an office and storage area, a small kitchenette, and a toilet. The funding will also provide the furniture and signage for the new wellbeing space.
