Parks Transitional Relief
Parks Transitional Relief provides relief from 2023/24 for parks or parts of parks that became liable for business rates for the first time on 1 April 2023.
A Revaluation, where the values of all properties are reviewed, has been carried out with all values effective from 1 April 2023. Some properties within parks which existed but were exempt from valuation have now become rateable from 1 April 2023.
If you are eligible, you will receive 67% relief in 2023/24 and 33% relief in 2024/25.
Subsidy Control
Parks Transitional Relief may be offered as Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) subsidy under the Subsidy Control Act 2022. The application form will detail the additional information required from you.
