B8046 Philpstoun Road Closure: 7 & 8 July 2025
Taxibus Arrangements for passengers travelling to/from Philpstoun
Passengers should note that due to the closure of the B8046 on the above dates, service 31 operated by SD Travel will follow a route diversion and will be unable to serve Philpstoun.
To minimise disruption, West Lothian Council will provide a free demand-responsive Taxibus service to Bridgend, where passengers can connect with bus services for onward travel. Journeys should be booked at least 1 hour in advance of travel.
The Taxibus service will pick up passengers from existing bus stops in Philpstoun/Bridgend. Please advise the call handler which bus stop you intend to use, when booking your journey and they will advise the pick-up time.
