Customer Notice - Customer Information Service (CIS)

The services based within Arrochar House will be moving next door (to Torridon House) over the next few days.

To allow us to prepare for the move, and set up in our new location, the Customer Information Service (CIS) will be closed at the following times:

• Friday 22 November: all day
• Monday 25 November: 8.30am - 1pm

We will reopen at 1pm on Monday 25 November.

All other CIS offices will be open as normal; please call 01506 280150 to make an appointment or call our Customer Service Centre on 01506 280000 to speak with an Adviser.

Torridon House can be accessed from Almondvale Boulevard via the entrance doors facing on to the multi-story car park.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Customers should phone 01506 280150 to speak with one of our officers and book an appointment. 

The phone line operates between the hours of 9am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 3.30pm on a Friday. 

Currently there is no drop-in service.

Attending your appointment

Please follow these simple steps:

• Arrive at your appointment time. We have limited seating in our CIS offices (including waiting areas).

• If you are unable to attend your appointment please call ahead to rearrange your appointment (phone 01506 280150).

• Our staff are here to help you, please respect them at all times.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible.

Payment Offices

Payment Offices at Arrochar House (Livingston) and The Jim Walker Partnership Centre (Bathgate) are now permanently closed.

Please note: at the council's budget setting meeting in February 2023, a proposal to close the Payment Offices was approved. The offices closed on Thursday 28 March 2024.

Parking

The Terrace Car Park is currently available to customers visiting Arrochar House.  This is a temporary arrangement and will revert to West Lothian Council staff only at some point in the future. There are some disabled parking bays. (Access to the car park is from Howden South Road as it leads off the east end of Almondvale Boulevard).

Access to Arrochar House is through the main entrance which is on the west side of the building.  If you have parked in the Terrace Car Park and have mobility issues, you can use the staff entrance which is located on the east side of the building - press the buzzer to speak with reception staff who will provide you with access.
