Customer Information Service Appointment Phone Line

CIS Advisers can provide advice and assistance on all council services. If you need more specialist information, advice or assistance we are able to make referrals to a range of council and external services based in West Lothian.

Customers can make an appointment to meet with a CIS Adviser by contacting the CIS Appointment Line on 01506 280150.The appointment line operates during the following hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 9am - 4.30pm
• Friday: 9am - 3.30pm

If you can not attend a pre-booked appointment for any reason, please inform us as soon as possible by phoning 01506 280150.

What enquiries do Customer Information Services (CIS) cover? 

CIS Advisers regularly advise customers on the following enquiry topics,

• Concessionary Travel
• Blue Badge Administration
• Benefits and Council Tax enquiries
• Housing and Tenancy related enquiries
• Homeless Presentations and Housing Options advice
• Waste Management issues (including bins)
• Garages
• Council House Repairs
• Corporate Debt (rent, council tax, service accounts, housing benefit overpayments)

Many enquiry types can be handled online via the council's website or other digital platforms.  If this is not suitable for you, or you are having difficulties, please come to us. Phone the CIS Appointment Line on 01506 280150 to make a face to face appointment.

We will ensure your enquiry is handled professionally and sensitively at all times.  

Payments - How do I make a payment to West Lothian Council?

If you want to make a payment to West Lothian Council in person, this can be done at a PayPoint location or at the Post Office. Please refer to the payment option leaflet here Payment options (PDF, 53 KB)(opens new window)

Accessibility

• To access the customer car park take the turning beside Arnold Clark Garage to the Livingston North Rail Station car park. Before you reach the station, take the next road to the right - our car park is the second entrance on your right. 
• Automatic doors to access centre and disabled push button access to foyer.
