On 22 February 2023 West Lothian Council agreed its budget for 2024-25. The budget allocated to the Voluntary Organisations Funding budget was £944,000.
As previously agreed the £944,000 Voluntary Organisations budget would cover three distinct processes:

The Third Sector Community Support Fund open grant scheme - £362,613
Twinning Associations annual grant - £11,920
Six organisations will deliver activity in 2024-25 via a Service Level Agreement for a total of £569,504. The funding covers the period 1st July 2023 - 30th June 2024.

On 8 January 2024 applications were invited from the third sector for the Third Sector Community Support Fund, with a deadline of 22 February 2024. In total 16 organisations were awarded funding. An additional £20,000 has become available from the Lintel Trust thereby making the overall funding available £94,916.
A total of £11,920.00 is available for five Twinning Associations, as detailed below, in West Lothian in 2024-25. A link officer from within Education Services will monitor organisations and twinning activities undertaken in 2024-25.
