Provost's Award
The West Lothian Provost's Annual Award scheme is being launched to recognise voluntary groups and individuals who have:
- Made an outstanding contribution to the local community in West Lothian
- Excelled in a chosen field (such as academia, the arts, business, culture, science, sport or the voluntary sector)
- Other exceptional acts or achievements which the recognition panel deem appropriate
Members of the public can nominate a group or individual who meets the criteria above to be considered for Civic recognition.
Nomination Process
Entries for the 2025 Provost's Awards closed on 31 January 2025 and were awarded in May this year.
Nominations for the 2026 Provost's Awards have not yet opened. This will be announced through the council's social media channels in due course.
