Journey Hub Study

Information on the Journey Hub Feasibility Study

West Lothian Council is seeking to improve how people move around the area by taking a more joined-up approach to public and sustainable transport.  As part of this work, the Council is investigating the feasibility of "journey hubs" at different locations across West Lothian.

A Journey Hub is a place where different transport options come together, making it easier for people to walk, cycle, use public transport, or access shared travel options, often alongside facilities like safe cycle routes, bike parking, and local services.

The Council has engaged AtkinsRéalis to carry out a feasibility study to assess whether Journey Hubs could be suitable in West Lothian, what form they might take, and where they could be located. 

We are keen to get your views on potential journey hubs in West Lothian.  We would like to understand what facilities you would value most, how you currently travel, and your views on potential locations that could be considered as part of this feasibility work.
