New Calderwood to Kirknewton Station shuttle bus to launch
A new shuttle service taking commuters to and from Calderwood in East Calder and Kirknewton Railway Station will launch from 30 June 2025.
The free service will provide two return journeys per day at peak times, to help residents access train services
The service is funded by Stirling Developments, the lead developer for Calderwood, as part of an agreement with West Lothian Council until a park and ride facility can be finalised.
Edinburgh Coach Hire will be providing the service, and no advance booking is required.

The service will be subject to monthly reviews to monitor usage, and may be adjusted accordingly in response to demand.
