Bin collection changes due to Linlithgow Marches
Linlithgow residents are being updated over changes to bin collections in the town due to the impact of Linlithgow Marches on Tuesday 17 June 2025.

The disruption, caused by street closures and other traffic management to allow the processions to safely take place in Linlithgow, will affect the scheduled collection of bins.
A West Lothian Council spokesperson said: "A number of road closures are in place on Tuesday 17 June to allow everyone to safely enjoy Linlithgow Marches.
"The closures will prevent access of vehicles, which will have a significant impact on the delivery of bin collections on the day.
"We would encourage Linlithgow residents to plan ahead and consider how the closures will affect them."
Those who live in streets that are part of the main town centre parade route for Linlithgow Marches should delay putting out their bins until 7am on Wednesday 18 June, and our teams will collect them as soon as possible.
The streets affected are: A803 Blackness Road, Regent Square, Provost Road, High Port, A803 High Street, Market Lane, Kirkgate, The Cross, The Vennel, Whitten Lane, Water Yett, Station Road, St. Michael's Wynd, Templars Court, Dog Well Wynd, Lion Well Wynd, New Well Wynd, St Johns Avenue, Union Road, Preston Road, A803 West Port, A706 Mains Road, A803 Falkirk Road, Main Street and Linlithgow Bridge.
Other Linlithgow properties may find their collections are delayed due to access issues related to the Marches.
In both cases, please leave your bins out until they are collected as our hard-working crews look to clear any backlog created by the impact of Linlithgow Marches.
