Full details of the proposed new fare table at unchanged rates have been advertised in the local press as per the legal requirements, and are available to view at Taxi and Private Hire Car Licences.

The council is legally required to carry out a review of taxi fares every 18 months, after consultation with local taxi licence holders. It is then required to publish notice of any proposed changes and consider any representations in writing before agreeing a new fare table.

Anyone who wishes to make a representation regarding the proposal must do so by 31 March 2024 in writing to Carol Johnston, Chief Solicitor at Legal Services, West Lothian Civic Centre, Livingston, EH54 6FF or by email to carol.johnston@westlothian.gov.uk (opens new window)
