101 Youth Project is set to open later in November and will provide a dedicated place for those aged 13 and over.

A former retail unit is being repurposed into a vibrant hub for youth activities and services, as part of an ambitious project involving West Lothian Council in partnership with: The Centre, Livingston; Mitie; MPACT; and NHS Lothian.

Full details on the project and the services available from 101 Youth Project will be available when it launches.

Executive councillor for education Andrew McGuire said: "I'm delighted that 101 Youth Project will open its doors to local young people later this month.

"It's an exciting project involving a range of partners that focuses on making a positive impact on the lives of West Lothian young people. More details will be revealed when 101 Youth Project opens to the public in a few weeks' time"

Patrick Robbertze, Centre Director at The Centre, Livingston, said: "We are delighted to be partnering with West Lothian Council on the 101 Youth Project and see it come to fruition after the idea first came to light a few years ago to provide activities and services for young people in the local community and look forward to the imminent opening of the new hub at the end of the month."
