Anti-Slavery Day

On October 18th, we commemorate Anti-Slavery Day, a crucial reminder of the ongoing fight against modern slavery and human trafficking. It's a day to raise awareness of the signs and dangers of exploitation, particularly in relation to vulnerable children and adults.

Human trafficking and exploitation is a serious crime that affects people from all over the world and it's happening now in communities across Scotland.

It can take many forms, including labour exploitation, sexual exploitation, domestic servitude, criminal exploitation and child exploitation. We all have a role to play in spotting the signs of exploitation and reporting it.
