Further consultation on alcohol licensing policy launched
Local residents are again being asked for their opinion on the future of alcohol licensing policy in West Lothian.
West Lothian Licensing Board is consulting on its alcohol licensing policy in order to prepare a new statement of policy to be published in November 2023 for the next five years.
A previous online consultation was undertaken in March 2023. The responses to that consultation have been reviewed by the Board and have influences the draft policy which can be viewed on the Licensing Board webpage.
The Board has considered the responses and is now seeking comments on the wording of the draft policy. This short consultation will close on 25 September.
The Board wishes to engage with and invite comments from as wide a spectrum of people and organisations as possible regarding the policy.
The Board would encourage anyone with an interest in alcohol licensing in West Lothian to take part in this consultation.
