The council has updated its Housing Capital budget with £164 million now set to be invested over the next five years towards the creation and acquisition of new council homes and the ongoing maintenance of quality standards across existing housing stock.

The Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017 sets out ambitious targets to significantly reduce child poverty in Scotland by 2030. The Act also places a duty on councils to work together with health boards to develop, produce and deliver an annual local action report
