Executive councillor for the environment and sustainability, Tom Conn said: " This is the latest in ongoing works around the open space areas of West Lothian to manage the impact of Ash Dieback Disease in the area. We are aware of the disruption and inconvenience that will be caused during a road closure, however it is vital that work is completed to mitigate the potential long term safety hazard that AshDieback Disease could pose in this area. Work will be undertaken in an efficient manner and every effort will be made to minimise disruption with access being maintained for local residents."
