Beecraigs Field Archery Area to be renamed in tribute to Jim Greig
West Lothian Council Executive has approved the renaming of the Field Archery Area at Beecraigs Country Park in memory of Jim Greig.

Jim was instrumental in establishing field archery and worked at Beecraigs for many years.
In addition to being the Secretary of Beecraigs Archers, he was Head Coach for the Scottish Field Archery Association and his efforts helped bring field archery to new generations of participants, as well as bringing hundreds of families to Beecraigs Country Park.
A survey carried out amongst various stakeholders indicated overwhelming support for the renaming of the Beecraigs Field Archery Area. Council officers will now undertake work to install new signage to mark the official renaming of Field Archery Area.
