Council approve sale of land
Land at Allen Road, Livingston is to be sold to Workflo Solutions (Scotland) Limited for £100,000.
The site is approximately 1,860 square metres and is one of six neighbouring plots which have been marketed for sale.
Workflo Solutions are a service provider to business. They offer print, digital workflow solutions , electronic document management and IT infrastructure support. The sale of the land will allow the business to further expand their existing operations in West Lothian. The firm plan to use the site for a two-storey building with parking and landscaping, subject to planning approval.
This land forms an important part of the council's capital receipt disposal programme which means that its sale will help to fund future investment in local services. When the council sells unused land, proceeds from the sale help to fund investment in infrastructure projects such as schools, parks, roads and care services for vulnerable people.
