18th West Lothian (West Calder) Scout Group
Scouting in West Calder has been around since 1917. We are a friendly group of over 50 children and young people (aged 6 to 14) and adult leaders and helpers. We meet in term time and offer a lively and exciting programme of activities.
Beaver Scouts are aged 6-8 years old and meet in the West Kirk Church Hall on Monday evenings.
Cub Scouts are aged 8-10 and a half years old and meet in the West Kirk Church Hall on Wednesday evenings.
Scouts are aged 10 and a half -14 years old and meet at the West Calder Community Garden on Thursday evenings.
All meetings take place in school term time.
Explorer Scouts are aged 14 to 18. We have a partnership agreement with the Cat-Welders Explorer Unit who meet at the Community Garden on Thursday evenings.
