Notice of election published ahead of Local Government Election
The Local Government Election will be held on Thursday 5 May 2022 to elect councillors to West Lothian Council. The Notice of Election was published today for each of the nine wards of West Lothian Council.
The Notice of Election, nomination papers, including relevant supporting documentation for the Scottish Local Government Elections to West Lothian Council, can be found on the West Lothian Council website.

The nomination period for potential candidates runs from Tuesday 15 to Wednesday 30 March 2022. Nominations can be lodged between 10am and 4pm during this period.
Nominations must be lodged not later than 4pm on Wednesday 30 March 2022.
