Talks and Presentations
Talks are available to any local community groups to discuss waste minimisation and recycling topics and the recycling services provided by West Lothian Council. Topics covered include:
What can be recycled in West Lothian
What happens to recycled materials once West Lothian Council collects it
Waste and recycling legislation
Each talk can be tailored to suit your group's time and information requirements. The Waste Education Team can travel to your group and provide all presentation equipment and information.
Activities and Games
In addition to our presentations we also have some fun games and activities we can bring along to any youth groups (or adult groups if you wish!), all of which can be tailored to suit the age range. Some of our most popular activities include:
Recycling Snakes & Ladders
Bean Bag Game (throwing the rubbish into the right bin)
Milk Bottle/Plastic Bottle Crafts (you can provide/recycle your own bottles)
Colouring in
Newspaper Plant Pots

We also have kits we can lend your group if you want to carry out activities in your own time.
