Doteki Karate Club
Teaching Martial Arts to children and adults from 4 years and upwards. Instructors are based locally and teach on a voluntary basis.
We are based at Simpson's Primary School in Bathgate, Wester Inch on a Monday evening and at Southdale Primary school, Armadale on a Wednesday evening. From 18.30 - 19.30 is our class of 4 - 8 yr olds called Little Samurai's. This gives children a little understanding of Karate along with having some fun at the same time. From 19.30 - 20.30 is our main class from the ages of 8 and upwards, we also have some of our Little Samurai's who have gone through the programme and have now started in this class. We teach the basics (Khion), Kata and Kumite. We are affiliated to KWF Scotland through in East Kilbride where our Chief Instructor is based. Through this we are able to compete in SKGB events and we hold our own competitions. We also have the opportunity to train with international coaches and attend conferences worldwide.
We are a family friendly and family run club and welcome all to come along and take part and benefit from exercising and building confidence.
We are a not for profit club as the instructors teach on a voluntary basis with all money taken going back into the running of the club and to buy equipment.
