Scottish Welfare Fund

The Scottish Welfare Fund team are currently experiencing a high volume of enquiries and applications for Crisis Grants; Community Care Grants and Self-Isolation Grants.

Due to the significant increase in demand it is taking us longer to deal with your application and/or enquiry. The estimated timescales for clearing applications to these grants is noted below. To help the Scottish Welfare Fund deal with this unprecedented demand, please only email the team if you have not been contacted about your application or enquiry within these timescales.

  • Crisis Grants - you will be contacted within 4 working days from the date and time your application was submitted to either make an award; refuse an award or supply further information.
  • Community Care Grants - you will be contacted within 28 days from the date and time your application was submitted to either make an award; refuse an award or supply further information.
  • Self-Isolation Grants - you will be contacted within 31 days from the date and time your application was submitted to either make an award; refuse an award or supply further information.
