Bathgate Ward

Bathgate is the third largest ward in West Lothian and has a population of 21,058. Bathgate is the largest settlement in the ward and ( including Boghall) has a population of 19,220.

Local Area Committee

A Local Area Committee has been established in Bathgate Ward. This Committee is a forum through which local issues are discussed and it encourages discussion between local members, local officers and the wider community, playing a key role in Locality Planning. Regeneration Meetings/Details

The Community Empowerment Act 2015 states that all Community Planning Partnerships in Scotland must develop plans for those communities which experience the poorest outcomes. The plans must identify priorities that are specific to the community and detail actions to reduce inequalities.
