'Monitoring the West Lothian Economy' is the most up-to-date information on the West Lothian economy. Here is the latest edition.

Icon for pdf The latest Monitoring the West Lothian Economy can be viewed and is available for download [124.9KB]. This economic update reports on a range of key indicators plus local labour market trends to help you better understand West Lothian's economy.

It also includes, on a quarterly basis, the locally-sourced indicator town centre occupancy and highlights house price changes to provide a basket of indicators covering various aspects of the local economy. Due to the economic change that the UK and Scottish economies are experiencing it is difficult to predict the broader effects on both economies in the longer term. Therefore, it is important to monitor and highlight how out local economy is faring in the wider context.
