Bus Stops and Shelters
The Public Transport Team are responsible for the siting, erection and maintenance of all bus stops and shelters, including any publicity items on display throughout West Lothian.
Request a new stop or shelter
Members of the public can request new stops and shelters. This can be done by contacting the Passenger Transport Service direct.
Damaged bus stops or shelters should also be reported the Passenger Transport Service using our online eform.
Report an issue
Service Standards
We will:
- provide up-to-date bus timetable information in all shelters and at selected bus stops;
- keep stops and shelters clean and well maintained;
- arrange for major repairs to stops and shelters to be carried out within seven days (where structure is unsafe, emergency repairs will be carried out within 24 hours of notification); and assess requirements for shelters throughout West Lothian.
