The Friends of Almond Valley provide support to all aspects of the Heritage Centre's operation. Membership provides the opportunity to assist in the care of animals, restoration & maintenance work, operation of the farm, railway and mill.

All sections are for girls and boys. Beaver Scouts aged 6 - 8 years. Cub Scouts aged 8 - 10 years. Scouts aged 10 1/2 years to 14 years Meet on Monday (Beavers and Scouts) and Thursday (cubs) evenings. Also looking for additional leaders to help within the Cubs and Scouts sections.
Activities include Prayer Groups, SVDP, Ladies Guild, Children's Liturgy, Adult Education Classes for those interested in the Catholic Faith and Youth Club.
Linlithgow Union Canal Society operates a canal museum, tea room and boat trips. The "Victoria", "Saint Magdalene" and "Saint Magdalene" carry passengers from Manse Road Basin and can also be chartered with or without catering. 'Leamington' is available for self-drive day hire. The museum houses records, photographs and relics of the history and wildlife of the Union Canal. A tearoom selling teas, coffee etc. is open at weekends. The Mel Grey education centre with room toilets and IT equipment is available for school groups and others.

Physiotherapist Led Pilates classes ideal for anyone who wants to improve their posture, core strength and flexibility safely under expert guidance. Class sizes are small and all equipment is provided by the physiotherapist leading the class.
Lunch club for older people in the Dedridge and Murieston areas.
Providing Adult befriending support to identified young people aged 10 - 21, with issues around confidence and self-esteem.
West Lothian Credit Union is a not for profit organisation offering affordable & ethical Financial Services in the form of savings accounts & low cost loans. The members elect a board of Directors, so the members control the Credit Union. You can join West Lothian Credit Union if you live or work in West Lothian.
