New Local Housing Strategy
Consultation on a new Local Housing Strategy for West Lothian
What is the Local Housing Strategy?
The Local Housing Strategy sets out the key areas of activity relating to housing in West Lothian. The strategy covers all tenures of housing - social rented, private rented and owner/occupied (private) houses.
What will the new Local Housing Strategy look like?
We are currently developing a new Local Housing Strategy for West Lothian. This strategy will set out critical issues, priorities and actions for housing for the next five years. It considers key themes for housing, including homelessness prevention, new housing supply, house condition, placemaking and communities, and specialist housing provision.
How do I voice my views on developing the new Local Housing Strategy?
As this new strategy covers all tenures of housing, we want to ensure that we can consider all West Lothian residents' and landlords' views when developing the strategy.
To help us do this, we have created a 5-minute questionnaire. This questionnaire will ask your views on housing issues, themes, priorities and outcomes.
If required, a paper copy can be provided upon request by emailing surveyLHS@westlothian.gov.uk or write to Housing Strategy & Development, West Lothian Council, West Lothian Civic Centre, Howden Road South, Livingston, West Lothian, EH54 6FF.
